Youth Program Information
Children and Youth Program Mission
CCMI seeks to teach, mentor, and support all aspects of our children’s and youth’s spiritual development. Additionally, we strive in our weekly youth program to foster relational development with peers and leaders, honesty with ourselves and others, fellowship, and to be informed on difficult life issues confronting today’s middle and high schoolers. We also have a great deal of laughter, games and fun! Youth in 6th through 12th grades are welcome to participate in our weekly meetings and seasonal activities. We love meeting new friends!
Note that youth group kids do not need to belong to CCMI to participate (nor do their parents). We welcome everybody!
Here are permission slips to post your child's photo on our blog. Feel free to fill them out and then put them in CE box, or hand them to Danielle Geitzke.
Activities
- Sunday School for Children K to 5th grade: Our Sunday school teacher, Danielle Geitzke, teaches children all about Christianity as they learn stories from the Bible and have fun. All lessons include an age-appropriate lesson, as well as a project, craft, or game.
- High School Youth Group: Sundays from 5:00 to 6:30 pm—Youth have a chance to hang out and unwind together. We provide dinner and games and short discussions on topical issues. Seasonal activities and events are planned as well as opportunities for community outreach. High School Youth Group does not meet during the summer.
